It is a great honour to serve as Campaign Chair for Jims mayoral election on October 25, 2010. I have had the privilege of knowing Jim for many years, and he is one of the most conscientious, dedicated and hard-working individuals that I have ever met. He has served the Niagara Falls community all of his life, and we have all seen his major contributions for the past 6+ years as city councillor. Jim is in tune with the needs of our city, has actively and tirelessly worked on behalf of all of his constituents on many worthwhile endeavors, and is a proven leader. Jim is a man of integrity, has represented and has great rapport with all sectors of our community, and can be trusted to follow through on any and all initiatives he undertakes. I am truly confident that Jim is the right person to lead our city as mayor for the next four years through these very challenging times that we all face, and am proud to be associated with such a passionate and enthusiastic individual who has a vision that we can all trust to lead and make the right decisions for this great city of ours.

Jim, Thank you for inviting me to be part of your campaign team for Mayor of Niagara Falls. It is a privilege to be able to participate in this effort and to be able to work with the caliber of individuals you have assembled. I am honoured to be included in this team. As an individual that has been involved in numerous political campaigns over the past 30 years with some great people who were seeking elected office, I can say without any reservation that you are the personification of the kind of candidate that people wait a lifetime to work with and support. I know that you will be successful in this endeavour and that the City of Niagara Falls will be a better place with you as its Mayor. Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of this exciting process! Sincerely,

In choices we make, we will find that the one thing is evident every time in all situations and that is a person’s character. It has been said – “Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are to some extent a gift. Good character, by contrast, is not given to us. We have to build it piece by piece — by thought, choice, courage, determination and above all actions”. As City Councillor, Jim Diodati has shown that he has both outstanding character and is willing to put the hard work and dedication into the community, thus helping to make Niagara Falls a better place to live, work and play. Jim’s values come from the heart of wanting to make a difference! Where there is strength in his character, I can also assure you that he will execute the same sound actions and judgments if elected Mayor as he does in his personal and professional life. His achievements, positive outlook, excellent work ethics and outgoing personality are a true testament to his commitment to the community and the people in it. I wish Jim the best of luck and success as he begins his mayoral campaign! Sincerely and with Best Wishes,

I don't think that the job we have before us as a City is one that can be done by anyone other than a very strong Mayor. I want the strongest Mayor I can find. Jim is strong. Jim has a lot to lend to the City of Niagara Falls by way of his passion and compassion for the City and it's residents. Jim actively pursues his goals tirelessly and I believe that is what we need in a Mayor right now. We need someone who has the kind of energy to help solve the problems we are experiencing in our City. Jim has the kind of integrity, passion and initiative to be the problem solver and leader we need in Niagara Falls. With Jim as Mayor, we would have a very bright future.

I was delighted to learn that Jim Diodati is seeking election as the next mayor of Niagara Falls in the upcoming municipal election. In his two terms on city council Jim has proven to be an effective and enthusiastic representative of our interests as citizens and taxpayers. He has shown true leadership ability with his “can do” attitude and willingness to tackle tough issues. He has the knowledge, experience, courage and drive needed to take on the major challenges which our city currently faces. On a personal note, I have known Jim for more than twenty years. During this time I have acted as his lawyer and gotten to know him quite well as a personal friend. Jim’s honesty and integrity are beyond question. He does what he says and says what he does. Jim is one of the most able, positive and energetic people I have ever met--just the kind of person we need as our next mayor.

Good Day !
I am a Niagara Falls hometown lad who now resides in the rural countryside of Perth, Ontario.
For part of this past Easter Weekend I visited my parents (now senior citizens), who live on Waterloo Drive in Niagara Falls. It was from my Dad that I learned that Jim Diodati was running for Mayor of Niagara. I was most pleased to hear of this good news.
Jim and Yvonne had been the best neighbours that anyone could ask for. My folks, being seniors, often required assistance and Jim always helped, even though he was busy with his growing family, business, and Council duties.
I consider Jim to be trustworthy, caring, dependable, hard working, dedicated, and very much Community oriented.
I believe that he would be an excellent Mayor for the thriving City of Niagara Falls and I, being a hometown lad, endorse him in this endeavour.
Thanks Jim for caring
